I’m 5’2”, and I still remember crying (happy tears) when I got my very first drill for Christmas my junior year of college. That moment? It sparked something.
Now, my mission is simple: Show other women that we absolutely can do this.
We can pick up the tools.
We can run the miter saw.
We can design, build, and bring our visions to life—without waiting on anyone else.
And that’s exactly what we’re doing… Building bold, beautiful spaces with a team of talented, confident women who prove every single day: We can do the damn thing.

A rough start to 2021 laid the foundation for this one-woman passion project…
For owner Morgan, 2021 didn’t exactly come in hot—in fact, it started with losing her job… just 9 days after closing on a new home. Talk about timing… But instead of panicking, she pivoted.
What started as designing and building accent walls throughout her own home quickly turned into something more. Friends saw the transformations, wanted the same for their spaces, and before she knew it—requests started rolling in.
One project turned into another… and just like that, Home Accents by Morgan was born.
Because sometimes the best things start when life forces you to get creative—and turn a blank wall into something unforgettable.

By February 2021, Home Accents by Morgan officially came to life—and there was no looking back. She traded in her corporate career for power tools, creativity, and a vision to transform homes across Kansas City with custom accent walls and statement designs.
Just three months in, demand was already growing—fast. She hired her first employee. Two months later? A second… and what started as a leap of faith quickly turned into a full-blown business.
Today, Home Accents by Morgan is powered by a talented team of women across the KC area—confident, skilled, and passionate about creating custom accent walls, wallpaper installs, and textured finishes that turn everyday spaces into works of art.
Because this isn’t just wall design—it’s craftsmanship, creativity, and a little bit of bold energy in every project.

This workshop was created with a bigger purpose in mind: to empower women to step outside their comfort zones and realize they are fully capable of creating, building, and designing within their own homes.
You’ll learn the fundamentals of accent wall design, layout, tools, and installation—no experience required. Whether you’ve never picked up a power tool or you’ve been wanting to take on a project but didn’t know where to start, this is your place to learn.
